Latch First, Then Seal

Push-pull connectors fail in the field for one dull reason: the latch wears and the plug starts to back out under vibration. The FGG.0K.309 uses a stainless steel latch spring that engages a machined groove in the socket shell, so retention depends on metal-to-metal interference instead of plastic friction. Pulling on the outer shell releases the latch; pulling on the cable never does.

1. Align	G key slides into the socket groove, blind mating possible by feel
2. Push	Latch spring compresses, front gasket starts to load
3. Click	Spring snaps into the groove, seal fully loaded, IP68 achieved
4. Lock check	Light pull on the shell confirms engagement
5. Release	Pull the outer shell rearward, never the cable
