Signal-dense circular interface for imaging, vetronics and test benches that cannot afford a loose coupling.

Design intent

Twenty-seven contacts are packed into an 11W shell that measures barely wider than a thumb, so a single panel cut-out can carry power, differential pairs and control lines at once. The threaded coupling nut is tightened by hand to a positive stop and stays put under continuous vibration, which is why this variant is preferred wherever a break-away plug would be a liability.
